Create your learning expedition itinerary in 3 minutes.

Six questions: who is going, how many, on which topics, from where, for how many days, a destination in mind or not. The itinerary shows at once, day by day, with the encounters from our pages, the in:100 places nearby, the trains, the carbon footprint and the budget. You adjust it, print it, and receive it by e-mail if you wish.

Nothing is booked. Encounters and places come from our pages. Train durations, emissions and amounts are estimates.

What the itinerary contains

The destination

The one you have in mind, or three suggestions from the collection, each with its country, duration, train and starting price.

Day by day

The encounters from the page, an in:100 visit within 80 km when there is one, a debrief every evening, a closing workshop on the last morning. Every line points to its page.

The budget

Design and facilitation, accommodation, meals, train: an order of magnitude per person.

Trains and carbon

The journey time, the night train when there is one, the emissions per person and for the group, compared with flying.

Where to sleep, where to eat

The in:100 places nearby. The places you added from their pages come first.

The settings

Train only, an in:100 place to sleep, all in French, accessibility, purpose, budget, period. Every setting recomposes the itinerary.

Questions

Where do the encounters and places come from?

From the site’s pages: the three immersions of each expedition in the collection, and the in:100 places (sleep, eat, make, visit) within 80 km of the destination. No organisation is invented. When an encounter is missing to fill a day, the line says so: “to find by the team”.

Are train durations and emissions exact?

They are orders of magnitude. Durations are indicative, station to station, to check on SNCF Connect, Trainline or the operator’s site. Emissions use 0.03 kg CO₂e per passenger-km by train (a cautious value, a TGV emits less) and 0.23 kg by plane, contrails included, after ADEME.

What is the displayed budget worth?

The collection price is a starting price, for at least ten people, when in:Expeditions designs and facilitates the expedition. Accommodation, meals and train are estimated with market prices (€170 a night, €60 a day, €0.17 per km) and are booked separately.

Can I start from an in:100 place?

Yes. On every in:100 page, “Add to my itinerary” keeps the place in your browser. The itinerary takes it into account to choose the destination and places it in the days.

Do I have to give my e-mail?

No. The itinerary shows, adjusts and prints without an address. If you ask to receive it, it leaves to the given address, and the in:Expeditions team keeps it to answer you. No list, no sharing.
