### Prellerhaus du Bauhaus

Dessau, Germany

In Dessau, Walter Gropius built a block of 28 studios next to the Bauhaus workshops in 1925 and 1926, where students and young masters lived and worked. Today you can sleep there, in rooms that remain true to the spirit of the school.

### Three criteria

#### A project behind the walls

In Santo Stefano di Sessanio, an Abruzzo village rebuilt house by house; at Knepp, 1,400 hectares handed back to the wild. The hosts welcome the group and explain how they did it.

#### Buildings with an author

Ledoux’s Royal Saltworks, the Bauhaus studios in Dessau, the hill of Monte Verità: you sleep in the building you would have travelled to see.

#### One roof for the whole team

Rooms for the whole group, a room to work in and, in most cases, a train station within reach.
